The HOLE project comes to life with the space and production support of Manzara Perspectives who, from his establishment, has contributed to a more lush sound of contemporary art and has shared his places in this way. The project will host an artist every month.
The HOLE project is a kind of surveillance device of art to make it more visible-cared for-pique for everyone (even for people who are not used to practise a gallery space). It is to look at the artworks in a small shop completely covered , through a hole.
Artists are free to make the Hole in the way they want and the project will give us the possibility this time to spy the special cases of art and artists from outside-the public space.
HOLE, for his first edition, hosts the artist Fulya Çetin. She made a serial of paintings from the photos taken with a night vision camera that she found on the internet.
Artist describes his work called “Good Night” as fallows:
“In this study, the subject matter interested me is the thermal cameras, night vision photos, visuals taken unawares, to fallow-to be fallowed, the invisible hands formulating our lives..
We met the images of this technology of thermal cameras on the television and these images are placed in our visual memory. So I wanted to make a serial of connotations and remindings.. These are all things that we have already seen and I wanted that we look again, we think again to be afraid again. I painted on little canvas, these images taken by a thermal camera, these paranoid scenes that looks like they will be destroyed by a bomb in a second. I tried to paint this tension.

DELİK projesi ilk olarak Fulya Çetin’i ağarlıyor.
